Workers Compensation

If you are injured in the course of employment, you may be covered by the Illinois Workers Compensation Act.   When you make a workers compensation claim there is no cost to you unless a recovery is made.

What you should know about workers compensation:

  • Report the accident to your employer as soon as possible.

  • Workers Compensation covers medical bills for work related injuries.

  • Lost time from work can be recovered.

  • Partial and/or permanent disability are compensable.

If you suffer an injury at work, you may be covered by the Illinois Workers Compensation Act. Workers compensation is a form of insurance that covers most employees injured in the work place, regardless of fault. Workers compensation provides for one hundred percent (100%) of your medical expenses, weekly benefits while you are unable to work, and a recovery for any permanent medical impairment or legal disability.

A contingency fee of twenty percent (20%) is most common, and there is no charge for the initial appointment.
